課程概述

1. 本程度只適合106-1學年度，零程度學生修習。開學第一週有中文能力測驗，經測驗後之學生可修習此課程。
2. 本課程授課語言以中文為主，英文為輔。
3. 本學期使用之教科書為《實用視聽華語一》(第一課至第九課)。本書著重日常生活會話，適合來台學習中文人士選讀。

課程目標

學習方式以會話為主，加強學生在聽、說、讀等方面的能力。

課程要求

1. 第一次上課前請先準備上課聽寫用的 B5 或是A4活頁紙。
Please prepare loose-leaf papers (B5 or A4 size) beforehand for in-class quizzes.
2. 準時上課，不要遲到早退。遲到二十分鐘，視同缺課。
Attend the class on time, don’t be late for class or leave earlier than scheduled. The student is considered absent if he/she is 20 minutes late for the class.
3. 課中請勿抽菸、喝酒和吃東西，可以喝水、喝飲料。
No alcohol, No smoking and No food is allowed in class, but drinking water or soft drinks is allowed.
4. 課中請勿使用手機和電子產品。
No cell phone, laptop, Ipad, electronic dictionary and any electronic devices are allowed in class.
5. 課堂中不說中文以外的語言。Your native language should not be used in class.
6. 上課時學生不該做其他事情，如寫功課、聊天、睡覺等與課程進行無關的事。需參與課堂活動，聽老師及同學的發言和討論。
Students should not do homework or do other things that are not related to the course, such as chatting with classmates or sleeping during class hour. It’s essential to participate in the classroom activity and class discussion.
7. 準時交作業。遲交的作業不收。
Submit the homework on time. Late submission will not be accepted.
8. 記得帶課本和作業簿。
Remember to bring the textbook and the student’s workbook.
9. 尊重老師及同學。如果上課中發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題的情況，教師將視情況隨時打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in the classroom. Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the instructor in class, which affect the class, the instructor will end the topic at any time. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic isn't related to the course, the instructor also will interrupt them at any time.
10. 違反以上規定皆會影響學期成績。違反一次規定就扣平時表現成績一分。
You will lose one point of scores of Attendance and Performance each time for violation of class regulations.

1.	期末考 Final exam	20%	期末考試為筆試(60%)、聽力測驗(10%)及口試(30%)。期末考不管什麼原因，均不能補考。 Final exam includes written test (60%), listening comprehension (10%) and oral test (30%). You will not be able to take a make-up exam if you miss it.
2.	期中考 Mid-term exam	20%	期中考試為筆試(60%)、聽力測驗(10%)及口試(30%)。若因故無法參加，必須事先知會老師，方可在一週內補考筆試及聽力測驗(口試不能補考)。若沒於考試前至少一天先告訴老師，將不能進行補考。 Mid-term exam includes written test (60%), listening comprehension (10%) and oral test (30%). Students who can’t take mid-term exam on the scheduled date must inform the teacher at least one day before the exam date. You will need to take a make-up exam, except oral test, within one week. You can’t take the make-up exam if you didn’t inform the teacher in advance.
3.	作業 Homework	20%	作業包括學生作業簿、中國字習寫練習及其他強化能力的作業。作業於課堂上領取，未出席者於課程網站下載後書寫。作業需於老師指定日內交回，晚交會批改但不計分。 Homework includes student workbook, Chinese character practice and some other assignments, such as writing narrations or dialogues. Homework will be handed out in class, you must download it if you are absent. All assignments must be handed in on time, late submission will not be accepted and students won’t get any points.
4.	平時測驗 Quizzes and Tests	20%	(1) 從第二週課程開始，除期中考及期末考週以外，每次上課都有聽寫考試。一上課就考試，如果因故而沒參加考試的，不能補考。期末會選最好的 18 次列入聽寫成績。 From the 2nd week, there will be dictation quiz at the beginning of the class. No make-up quiz provided. The teacher will pick 18 best scores at the end of the semester. (2) 每課教完有單元考試(一共為 6~8 次)。單元考試時間不定，但皆為該天上課最後一小時。考試主要為筆試(含聽力測驗)，視情況加入口試。每課小考缺考不予補考。 There will be a written test (including listening comprehension) for each lesson (the total is 6 ~ 8 tests). The test will be given in the last hour of the class. There will be several oral tests this semester. You can’t take a make-up test if you miss the test for each lesson.
5.	課堂出席與課堂參與和表現 Attendance and Class Participation	20%	(1) 每堂課遲到或早退 20 分鐘以上，即算缺席一小時。 Late for class more than 20 minutes or leave the class 20 minutes earlier than scheduled time will be regarded as one-hour absence. (2) 每個學生一學期可有三次缺席(9 個小時，含遲到或早退)，老師不會扣分，但必須事先寫信告訴老師。第十個小時開始，每缺席一小時，就扣出席及平時表現成績 1 分。缺課時數超過學期的五分之一則不給予學分。若有事無法上課，請先寫信告訴老師。 Students who are absent within 9 hours (including the absence that are late for class or leave the class 20 minutes than scheduled from class) will not lose any point, but you must inform the teacher by email in advance that you are unable to attend the class. From the 10th hour, students will lose one point per hour. Students are absent more than 1/5 of the semester (more than 20 hours, the 20th hour not included.) will fail the class. Inform the teacher by email in advance if you are unable to attend the class.
